Hello That's correct, all updates are free of charge. To send a request for an update of a specific App you have to use the contact form at the bottom of this page. It will be sent to your email adress. The programs are not limited, you can use them after reinstalling Windows.
The packacke just contains programs and files organised in folders. There is no installer that creates a dedicated menu with icons. If the user needs icons he can download the desired Apps form the Autodesk App store (link is in the menu). A new tool published for the first time, that was not available in the past at the moment the user bought the Package, he can purchase (this new tool) separately. Then he also acquires the right for free updates of this App.
